Her representation ended with a her notice of a nondescript conflict of interest, an ultimatum to wave my rights to make future claims against her for violating a conflict of interest, and ultimately her withdrawal without my consent. Conflict of Interest: General Rule, which provides in part that: A lawyer shall not represent or continue to represent a client if there is a significant risk that the lawyer’s own interests will materially and adversely affect the representation of the client.2. In the event that the case does not settle on or before September 20, 2022, you retain Substitute Counsel to try the case.
